What is a Turbocharger? 

A turbocharger (turbo for short) is a device that increases the power output of an engine by compressing the air entering commonly referred to as forced induction. On a conventional turbo system the exhaust gas pressure is used to drive a turbine wheel, which in turn spins a compressor wheel, forcing more air into the cylinders, which allows for more fuel to be burned, creating more power.

Over time turbochargers can stick or block up and can lead to performance or boost issues, poor economy, damage to turbos and trigger engine lights and system fault codes.  

How do you clean a turbo on the vehicle?

We use a specifically designed turbo intake cleaning solution along side our hydrogen engine carbon clean to help to prevent build up & blockages in the turbo system, it has been known to fix underboost and overboost issues which many people suffer from as a result of build up and can be a much cheaper alternative than replacing expensive parts. 

Please Note: Our turbo cleaning service is not gaurenteed to fix turbo system related faults, a turbo re-condition, replacement or testing by a turbo specialist maybe required. Also other parts in the turbo or boost system may be at fault.

This service includes a standard carbon clean, the opinion to upgrade to our superior carbon clean for a small additional cost.
