Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: Cash, Card & Bank Transfer.
Q: Are you insured?
A: Yes we have public liability insurance as well as a motor trade policy which allows us to drive your vehicle fully comprehensive. (High performance, super cars or high value classic cars may not be included)
Q: Do you offer a mobile service & do you require anything?
A: Yes, we offer all our services mobile and will require a normal mains power supply (within 75m) and a suitable parking situation. For remapping we require a stable phone signal (or WiFi in range if your area has poor signal).
Q: Do I need to be present if you come out to me?
A: No, all we would need is your vehicle key and access to power if you are not able to be present. You can pay via bank transfer or we can send payment link to pay with your card securely on completion if needed.
Q: Are you VAT registered?
A: No
Q: How soon can you book me in?
A: Typically we can book slots within 2 or 3 days but quieter weeks it can be same or next day.
Q: How long does it take?
A: On average 2 hours maximum but some services may take up to 4 hours.
Q: How often should I carbon clean my engine?
A: As a part of regular maintenance we reccomend every 10,000 miles or 12 months (which ever comes first)
Q: What areas do you cover mobile?
A: Any postcode starting with... WV, WS, DY, B, TF, CV, WR & DE. We also cover a lot of LE, NG & SY Postcodes but additional charges for travel may apply. (Please contact us)
Q: How can I book a service?
A: Use the "book a service now" button, call, text or whats app is the quickest any easiest way for us to book you in but you can also book by email if you prefer.
Q: Do I need to leave a deposit when booking?
A: No.
Q: What if I need to cancel or reschedule my booking?
A: Call or text and we can amend your booking accordingly, you can also email but this may not reach us instantly or could be missed due to being mobile (Please give us least 3 hours notice before your booked slot for any booking amendments as your technician may already be on the way)
Q: Is carbon cleaning safe to do on my vehicle?
A: Yes, we have never had any issues with carbon cleaning on the thousands of vehicles we have serviced. If the vehicle is deemed to be "unsafe" or if we feel there is any added "risk" we will not continue with cleaning without your permission and full acceptance of liability, rest assured we are fully insured in the extremely unlikely event of anything going wrong.
Q: Do you offer DPF warranty or guarantees?
A: No, it's very difficult for us to warranty a DPF with so many potential and unforseen reasons for a block to occur. However we will never turn anyone away and you will always have full support from us if any DPF issues should return shortly after us cleaning.
Q: Is it easier if I come to you?
A: We may be able to get you in sooner or can arrange out of hours services if you can bring the vehicle and leave it with us as we can work on multiple vehicles at once providing quicker turn around times for our customers.
Q: What can I do to prevent my DPF from blocking in the future?
A: Regular motorway drives, fuel tank additives and regular vehicle servicing, yearly carbon cleaning and fixing any other known engine faults is the best way to maintain a DPF.
Q: Can perfomance remapping damage my engine?
A: As with all vehicle modifications there is always a risk of increase in parts ware over time due to the vehicle being exposed to more power, stress or strain, so it’s always worth baring in mind before you decide to go ahead. That being said we have never had issues with any of our remaps and is overall a safe process, we would recommend using the extra power within reason. Constantly driving the vehicle harsh or irresponsibly can obviously cause issues with an engine regardless if a vehicle is remapped or not.
Q: Do you offer any discounts?
A: Yes, we offer discounts for multiple service or multiple vehicle bookings if at the same location. (Please contact us before booking)
